Whittier University ProgramFor the eighth year in a row, we are delighted to be working with Whittier Law School and their renowned Summer Abroad program. We have reserved a limited number of rooms at two hotels in Tel Aviv at specially negotiated rates for participants, from July 1 till July 27, 2012. We will be arranging for a private bus to take students to/from classes at Bar-Ilan University and to all legal excursions. The bus will leave from a location close to the arranged housing. Prices include a full breakfast and are valid for a minimum of 14 nights. Both hotels are centrally located in Tel Aviv, near major shopping areas and with a fantastic choice of restaurants and are only a few blocks away from the beaches of the Mediterranean Sea! Metropolitan Hotel (First Class Hotel)The Hotel Metropolitan is located in the very centre of the bustling city of Tel Aviv. It is only one block away from the Mediterranean Sea and the wide, sandy beaches. The hotel has a swimming pool and free WiFi internet is currently available throughout the hotel free of charge. Rates per night on room and breakfast basis: Rates are subject to minimum 14 consecutive nights The Sea Net Hotel (Tourist Class Hotel)The Sea Net Hotel is located in the center of Tel Aviv, just one block from the beach and Ben Yehuda Street with its many restaurants and cafes. The colorful Hacarmel Market as well as Allenby Street can also be found within easy walking distance of the hotel. Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms and costs USD 8 per 24 hours. Rates per night on room and breakfast basis: Rates are subject to minimum 14 consecutive nights Self catering apartmentsThe self catering apartments are located on Allenby Street by the seafront promenade and within walking distance of Old Jaffa and the Tel Aviv bars, restaurants, shopping areas, cafes, and nightlife attractions. Fully furnished apartments include air-conditioning, cable-TV, kitchenette with microwave, small fridge and electric ring, free internet wireless connection. Rates per night (not including breakfast): *All internet rates are payable directly and are subject to change without notice. According to Israeli law, Israeli citizens must pay V.A.T. on all hotel rates. V.A.T. is currently 16% and payment should be made directly to the hotel.
