Please read this page in full before making your refundable deposit payment.
Taglit-birthright israel requires that each applicant, in order to be accepted on to a program, must pay a fully refundable deposit of US $250.
This deposit is ONLY intended to secure your space on the program and will be FULLY refunded once you've successfully completed the trip, as long as you have not broken the rules in the waiver. Once you are assigned to a seat, the deadlines below apply - if you are on a waitlist or are NOT yet assigned, they DO NOT apply!
It will also be refunded if you voluntarily withdraw your application before the cancellation deadlines which are below:
March 17, 2008 09.00 EST for May flights
April 14, 2008 09.00 EST for June flights
May 12, 2008 09.00 EST for July flights
June 16, 2008 09.00 EST for August flights
Ensure that you complete the trip participants name below, then click on the button to make the payment.
Note that there is a $7 fee for making the payment online - therefore you will pay $257 and have $250 refunded to you after the trip or in case of cancellation before the deadlines.
If you encounter difficulties making the payment online, please call us on 1-800-218-9851 and we will take your details over the phone.
We are available 7 days a week while registration is open from 9am - 4pm EST.
Cancellations / Withdrawals of applications
If you need to cancel your trip or if you wish to withdraw your application, we MUST be notified in writing. Cancellations over the phone are NOT ACCEPTED.
Please submit your cancellation / withdrawal to canceltrip@israelexperts.com.
Refunds
Please note: While, it is not neccessary to sign up for a PayPal account in order to pay the deposit, it WILL be neccessary to open an account in order to receive your refund back after the trip. We will send you an email stating that you have cash waiting for you. We will send that email to the email address you have used to sign up to the Info Center. PayPal is free, easy and secure. If you already have a PayPal account, please make sure that you use that email address on the Info Center - if you do NOT yet have a paypal account, go to www.paypal.com and sign up for one.
Check Payments
If you do not want to make an online payment, but would prefer to mail a check to us, this is an available option. You should be aware that seats are allocated on a first come, first served basis - whoever completes the application process quickest has a better chance of getting a seat.
Should you use regular mail, this can cause a delay in completing your application.
