Based on our Discover Israel program, The LA Way is a special trip designed for young Angelenos in association with The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles that looks at the natural partnership between LA and Tel Aviv.

The LA Way includes special opportunities in Tel Aviv visiting unique programs that only the Jewish Federation can offer. Through the Tel Aviv – Los Angeles Partnership you will meet Israeli filmmakers and view their award-winning films, meet and get to know Holocaust survivors as real people, and take part in a "hands on" community service project.

Also, LA Way offers an extended "Mifgash" (encounter) with Israelis. This is YOUR opportunity to tour with young Israeli adults to learn first-hand about what it's like to live in Israel.  Most trips only have Israelis on the bus for 3-5 days. LA Way includes Israelis as part of the whole group for the full 10 days!!

And, everyone on the trip lives in L.A. - so you'll return with a whole new circle of friends!

• Ages 21-27*, from within LA County, 10 days, Free, Appropriate for all Jewish Backgrounds, Co-ed.

* Regarding age, Taglit-Birthright Israel has set a cutoff date of May 1 2008 for all trips. If you turn 27 before May 1st then you are NOT eligible for any Summer 2008 departure. If you turn 27 AFTER May 1st then you ARE eligible and this will be your LAST CHANCE!!
