Partnered communities have established a philosophy of joint endeavor and joint community vision through the vehicle of Partnership 2000. Philosophy and vision are good starting points for endeavor. Teen "mifgashim" present these partners with a programmatic realization of that vision where it counts; with the young adult clientele of the partnered communities.
IsraelExperts is experienced in the development and carrying out of mifgash (encounter) programs for schools from partnerships of Israeli and Diaspora communities from around the globe. IsraelExperts has created mifgashim for Jewish teens from schools in Washington DC, Kansas City, Orange County, Baltimore, the South African Jewish community and more, with Israeli peers from communities throughout Israel.

Day by day, period by period, we visit the sites where our visionaries built their unique world view and their intimate connection with the Land of Israel. As we read the words of our national religious founding fathers and mothers we see them before our very eyes, be that for example King David in the ancient city of David; Elazar Ben Yair at Massada; Yehuda Hanasi at Tziporri; Isaac Luria in Safed; or our modern leaders such as Yosef Trumpeldor at Tel Chai; Rachel the Poetess on the shores of the Kinneret; David Ben Gurion as he declares the State of Israel in Independence Hall; Yitzhak Rabin at the site of his assassination in Tel Aviv; Theodore Herzl on Mt. Herzl; Yoni Netanyahu at his grave in the national military cemetery in Jerusalem; a survivor of Auschwitz at Yad Vashem and recent olim in their new homes in Israel
The story of our heroes becomes not only a living story of our past but an interactive dialogue. What makes a leader? Who is a hero? What is the message these heroes convey to our youth today? Is a poet any less a hero than a fighter? Questions such as these, presented on site, give new life and meaning to the hero and the student.
